About Andrew Roberts

Andrew Roberts is an independent board-level advisor on cyber governance and AI governance for Australian directors. He works with boards, chairs, and individual non-executive directors who need a clear, defensible governance position — and an advisor with no conflicts of interest.

His work sits at the intersection of director accountability and technology risk. Where most cyber advice is directed at IT teams, Andrew's focus is the boardroom: what directors are legally required to understand, where governance structures fail under scrutiny, and how boards can demonstrate active oversight to regulators, auditors, and courts.

Andrew advises boards across ASX-listed companies, regulated entities, local government, and founder-led businesses. All engagements are conducted under strict non-disclosure. He holds no vendor relationships, takes no referral fees, and has no commercial interest in any technology product or managed service.

He is based in Brisbane and works with boards across Australia, with a particular focus on the Brisbane and Sydney markets.

Andrew Roberts Advisory is a member practice aligned with the governance principles of the Australian Institute of Company Directors (AICD) and the Australian Computer Society (ACS).
